Bowes Creek Country Club wraps an 18-hole public golf course in southwest Elgin—Toll Brothers townhomes and single-family homes built 2006–2024, plus the gated 55+ Regency section with its own clubhouse, pool, and calendar.
Bowes Creek Country Club sits south of Bowes Road off the Randall corridor in southwest Elgin, and it’s the closest thing Kane County has to true golf-community living at a non-country-club price. The Rick Jacobson-designed 18-hole course is public—anchored by the golf clubhouse and Johnny’s Supper Club—and the homes around it came from Toll Brothers, which sold its final homesites in 2024, so the community is newly complete.
It’s really two communities in one. The all-ages sections—the Fairways and Masters collections—deliver townhomes from roughly 1,492 to 2,600 square feet and singles up to about 5,576 square feet, many with fairway frontage. The gated Regency section is the 55+ side: 351 low-maintenance homes with a private 10,000 square foot clubhouse, outdoor pool, fitness center, tennis and bocce courts, and a full activities calendar. Note that some listing sources label the whole community “active adult,” which is wrong—only Regency carries the age restriction, and we confirm section rules on every showing.
Recent sales have mostly run from about $550,000 to $740,000 for singles, with actives spanning roughly $415,000 townhomes to $800,000 golf-frontage homes. HOA fees range from about $19 a month on some single-family sections to $300 for the maintenance-included products. The school district boundary runs through the area—parcels fall in Central 301 or U-46 depending on location—so we verify the assignment parcel by parcel.
Pricing reflects Bowes Creek sales and active listings as of mid-2026.
Two- to three-bedroom townhomes from roughly 1,492 to 2,600 square feet, many with golf or pond views and association exterior care—the community’s entry point and a favorite of downsizers not ready for the 55+ section.

D301-assigned parcels feed the district’s far-west Elgin elementaries, Prairie Knolls Middle School, and Central High School in Burlington.
U-46-assigned parcels feed the district’s southwest Elgin attendance areas. U-46 is the state’s second-largest district, with five high schools.
