Foxmoor is Montgomery’s Kane County community — Cambridge Homes singles and townhomes built 2001–2011 next to Jericho Lake Park, feeding Kaneland CUSD 302, with townhomes in the $240s–$300s and singles recently trading to nearly $490K.
Foxmoor occupies a distinctive corner of Montgomery: north of US 30 and west of Orchard Road on the Kane County side of the village, with Scottish-themed streets — Foxmoor Drive, Aberdeen Drive, Shetland Lane — and Jericho Lake Park’s 20-acre stocked fishing lake next door. Cambridge Homes built the community between 2001 and 2011, the bulk of it 2003–2008, mixing larger two-story singles with a substantial townhome section.
The Kane County address matters twice. First, taxes: the Kane side of Montgomery runs a lower effective rate (roughly 2.33%) than the Kendall side, and we found no active SSA on Foxmoor parcels. Second, schools: Foxmoor feeds Kaneland CUSD 302 — McDole Elementary, Harter Middle School, and Kaneland High School — unlike almost everything else in the village. For buyers targeting that district at Montgomery pricing, this is effectively the only neighborhood on the list.
Pricing splits cleanly by product: townhomes (roughly 1,330–1,850 sq ft) trade in the $240s to around $300K with association fees near $152–$170 a month, while the singles — many around 3,000 sq ft with four or five bedrooms — have recently sold between about $400K and $490K, with the 2026 median near $441K. Foxmoor Park, the pond, and internal trails handle green space inside the community itself.

Two- to four-bedroom townhomes around 1,330–1,850 sq ft with attached garages and ~$152–$170/mo associations. The village’s main attached option on the Kane County side.
Four- and five-bedroom two-stories, many near 3,000 sq ft, on Foxmoor’s interior streets. The 2026 median sale landed around $441K — the community trades at a premium to most Kendall-side Montgomery subdivisions.
