Shorewood Towne Center is Lennar’s 139-home community at Peyton Terrace and Wynstone, north of Jefferson Street — six floor plans from 1,866 to 2,907 sq ft starting in the high $450s, steps from Village Hall, the amphitheater and two parks.
Shorewood Towne Center is the rare new-construction community where the location is the amenity. Lennar is building 139 single-family homes on about 60 acres at Peyton Terrace and Wynstone Drive, directly behind the village’s civic campus — Village Hall, the outdoor amphitheater, and two parks are literally next door, and the site plan wraps multi-use walking and biking trails around a central pond. When the village hosts events on the Towne Center green, this neighborhood walks over.
The lineup runs six two-story floor plans — Siena II, Ontario, Brooklyn, Galveston, Ridgefield and Raleigh — from 1,866 to 2,907 square feet with three to four bedrooms, two to two-and-a-half baths, and two- to three-car garages. Published pricing has run from about $458,000 to $569,000 depending on plan and lot, with reported average pricing near $451,000 earlier in the sell-out and quick move-in homes regularly available. That positions Towne Center directly against River Crossing’s established semi-customs — newer everything versus more square footage per dollar; I walk buyers through that comparison weekly.
Two practical notes. First, this corner of Shorewood is changing fast: The Hamptons mixed-use development — 175 rental homes, 72 townhomes and ground-floor retail — is going in nearby at Jefferson and Wynstone, which will add conveniences and construction traffic in roughly equal measure for a couple of years. Second, as with any builder community: bring your own representation (the on-site team works for Lennar), have every build independently inspected, and verify the full projected tax bill including any Special Service Area before you sign. We handle all three.

Siena II and the compact two-stories around 1,866–2,200 sq ft — three bedrooms, flex space, and the full walk-to-the-amphitheater location at the community’s opening price point.

The village’s outdoor amphitheater and events green sit at the neighborhood’s edge — summer concerts and community events are a walk, not a drive.
Multi-use walking and biking trails wrap the community’s central pond and connect toward the civic campus and parks.
The Towne Center civic core — Village Hall and two village parks — borders the community, anchoring a walkable pocket few new subdivisions can match.
The Hamptons mixed-use project at Jefferson and Wynstone will add ground-floor retail and hundreds of residences nearby — more conveniences within walking distance over the next few years.
School assignments for newly platted sections should be confirmed directly with the districts before contract. Shorewood addresses are split between Troy CCSD 30-C and Minooka CCSD 201 for elementary, with high school through Minooka CHSD 111 or Joliet Township HSD 204 depending on address.
Shorewood’s two elementary districts split the village; the assignment for any Towne Center lot should be verified with the districts at contract time.
High school assignment likewise depends on the specific address — confirm current boundaries before you sign.
You’re at the village’s civic center: Village Hall, the amphitheater and parks next door, Jefferson Street’s conveniences at the corner, and Hammel Woods’ trails and river access five minutes away.
Jefferson Street (US 52) meets I-55 minutes east, with Route 59 close by and I-80 just south — Joliet in 10 minutes, Plainfield in 15, the Naperville corridor in roughly 30.
Plan on 50 to 70 minutes to the Loop via I-55, or drive 15 minutes to Joliet’s transportation center for Rock Island or Heritage Corridor Metra service plus Amtrak.
We work the I-55 corridor daily and know every section of Shorewood Towne Center. Get real answers about pricing, fees, and what’s coming to market.
